    How to Prepare the Dough:

    • Pour 2 ½ cups of water into a container.
    • Add salt and gradually mix in 2 ½ cups of cornmeal.
    • Briefly knead the mixture until a smooth dough is formed and then let it rest for 3 minutes.

    How to make anĀ Arepa:

    • When the dough is ready, roll small balls and flatten them into discs.
    • Once they are ready, in a pan add some oil and fry the arepas.
    • After you fry them you can open them in half and fill them with your favourite Latin meats.
